As the Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing the day-to-day operations of our office. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, as well as actively contributing to the overall success and growth of our practice.
Responsibilities:
- Manage schedules, calendars, and appointments for attorneys
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Organize and maintain case files and document management system
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals on behalf of attorneys
- Conduct research and gather information for cases and projects
- Prepare and submit expense reports and handle billing inquiries
- Act as point of contact between attorneys and office staff
- Assist with marketing and business development efforts
- Proactively identify and address any administrative or operational issues to ensure smooth operation of the office
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an executive assistant or in a similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, discretion, and strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
