Job Description We are seeking a
QA Tester with telecom industry experience for a long-term contract in Cary, NC. This role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days remotely.
Due to the projects supported and level of clearance required, this role is open to U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. Responsibilities:
- Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies.
- Identify and investigate issues found during testing.
- Work closely with software developers and software quality analysts to resolve issues. Require extensive Automation knowledge.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to reduce repetitive manual testing.
- Create, shape, and monitor test plans for scalability, security, functionality, and usability. Planning the testing strategies, methods for projects and customizing the testing as needed.
- Implementing, executing, and capturing results of test plans/test scripts/test cases.
- Create and develop new automation test cases -Working closely with the business UAT teams, 3rd party vendors, and other internal IT teams.
- Test business processes/products across applications with an end-to-end process flow.
- Manage escalations with developers regarding code defects, fix priority and ticket closure.
Qualifications - Bachelors Degree
- QA experience within the Telecommunications industry
- Experience with all phases of software testing including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and designing test architecture.
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver, test framework development, and web application testing
- Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture
- Demonstrated programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript etc.
- Flexibility to work early/late hours to support offshore/Onshore team members -Occasionally support Production deployment testing during midnight for Enterprise Release
- Exposure to Machine Learning in QA is Big Plus
- Prior success as an individual QA Automation Engineer embedded within a product team
- Experience testing API and database levels of a product or application -
