Short Job Description

The ideal Line Boring, Welder, & Fabricator is responsible for repairing and maintaining our fleet of earthmoving and pipeline equipment

Responsibilities

• Utilize all equipment needed for line bore operations, including set up, measurements, welding up and cutting of bores to spec.
  
  
• Must be proficient in use of all Welding, Cutting, Lancing and grinding tools
• Have some mechanical skills and be able to operate press gear for disassembly & assembly as needed
• Understand metal properties and what types to use for a variety of applications
• Must be able to multitask projects
• Must have proficiency in the following: reading prints and specs, the use of measuring tools, the math skills required for setting up and performing line boring operations

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is preferred
