Executive Chef - Fine Dining Steakhouse

Salary: $85,000 per year

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years as an Executive Chef in a full-service facility.
• Proficient in food planning and preparation, purchasing, and sanitation.
• Current ServSafe Food Managers Certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Ability to work various shifts in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
• Capability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs and perform essential job functions such as standing for long periods, bending, and walking long distances.
• High School graduation is required.
• Successful completion of a 10-year FBI criminal background check.
• Proven ability to pass computerized employment testing and in-person interviews.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Executive Chef will build cooperative relationships with national and local market-prepared food vendors in Boston.
• Develop strategic alliances focused on innovation and product development.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to ensure profitability and growth.
• Conduct regular Quality Assurance tastings to maintain recipe adherence and food quality.
• Lead and execute culinary strategic plans, including seasonal and promotional programs.
• Provide leadership and guidance to culinary team members, contributing to their development.
• Orient new cooks to core culinary standards and established food programs.
• Assist in new restaurant openings and renovations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
