*Overview*
The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care across all settings. The CNO will collaborate with other healthcare executives to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices that align with the organization’s mission and values. This position requires a deep understanding of nursing practices, regulatory compliance, and a commitment to enhancing patient outcomes while upholding resident rights. A key element of a strong candidate for this role is the mindset to own and drive the business alongside the CEO in-facility.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and manage nursing operations across acute care, home care, and home health services.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare guidelines.
* Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that reflect best practices in patient care.
* Oversee the management of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments to ensure accurate documentation and care planning.
* Foster a culture of safety, quality improvement, and patient-centered care within the nursing staff.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery and optimize health outcomes.
* Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff to promote continuous learning.
* Advocate for resident rights and ensure that all nursing practices uphold these principles.
*Qualifications*
* Current registered nurse (RN) license in good standing.
* Extensive knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
* Proven experience in managing nursing teams within a healthcare setting.
* Familiarity with home care operations and regulations is preferred.
* Strong understanding of MDS processes and Medicare requirements.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while adhering to ethical guidelines.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
