Job Title: UI UX Designer with Backend Experience

Location: Santa Clara, CA - Fully Onsite

Contract for 2-3 years

Job Description:

• Design responsive and accessible user interfaces for web/mobile applications.
• Translate complex data structures into intuitive dashboards, forms, and user flows.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers to understand API responses and constraints.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes (Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools).
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on feedback.
• Ensure design scalability and consistency across features and platforms.
• Document UI specifications and work with developers to ensure accurate implementation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing data-heavy UI work (dashboards, admin panels, analytics).
• Experience working with backend teams, APIs, and understanding data models.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, or database schema viewers.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON data, and how frontend integrates with backend.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
