We’re hiring experienced Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistants across multiple offices to support our growing underwriting operations.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely, accurate policy issuance and operational efficiency for our Commercial Casualty underwriting teams. If you’re detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced insurance environment—this is your opportunity.
Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to underwriters
Request and organize required underwriting information, such as loss runs, subjectivities, and supplemental applications
Assist in binding, booking, and issuing new and renewal policies, endorsements, and related documentation
Ensure compliance with internal underwriting guidelines and external regulatory requirements
Verify that pricing and terms match binders and policy documents before final issuance
2–5+ years of experience working in a commercial casualty lines underwriting department within a P&C insurance company
Strong understanding of insurance workflows, documentation, and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and underwriting software platforms
Competitive base salary of $60,000 to $90,000
