  • Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (varied start times: 07:00, 09:00, 11:00); some 10-hour shifts and variable weekday/weekend call shifts

  • Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
  • Unit: 18-room Operating Room, daily census ~70 procedures

Registered Nurse Qualifications



  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon RN license can be pending at submission)
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing experience)
  • Epic EMR charting experience required
  • Ability to float to affiliate hospitals as needed
  • One supervisor reference required at submission
  • First-time travel nurses welcome!

Operating Room RN Responsibilities



  • Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a high-volume OR setting
  • Assist with inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular/Vascular, General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Dental, ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and Trauma
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including IV and Rapid Response Teams
  • Participate in scheduled shifts and on-call rotations, including some weekends
  • Accurately document patient care using Epic electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Support efficient workflow and patient safety in a fast-paced surgical environment
  • Float to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed to support patient care
