\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 13-week contract, full-time position requiring 36 hours per week
\n• Rotating weekends required - every other weekend on set rotation (weekends 1 and 3 or weekends 2 and 4)
\n• Holiday rotation with core staff required
\n• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:6 on 32-bed unit
\n• Care for post-operative and medical patients including surgical, orthopedic, urology, and medical cases
\n• Age-specific population includes adults and geriatrics with common cases including hips, shoulders, and knees
\n• Required to titrate drips including heparin based on protocol
\n• May be asked to fill charge nurse role with cross-training provided
\n• Floating requirements to other med-surg units or emergency department boarders when needed
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Cardiac drip experience preferred
\n• Work with equipment including CPAP, BiPap, IV pumps, pulse oximetry, and sequential compression devices
\n• EPIC charting system used
\n• Dress code: Navy scrubs (solid color, no embroidery or patterns), closed-toe shoes required, no Crocs
\n• Orientation includes general hospital orientation, full day nursing orientation, computer training, and two 12-hour shifts with preceptor
