Summer School / Extended School Year

We are seeking a licensed LPN or RN to support students during our summer programs. This is a part-time opportunity with two possible summer assignments. Flexible scheduling is available, and job sharing will be considered.

Available Opportunities

1. Special Education Extended School Year (ESY)

• Dates: July 6 - July 30
• Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Monday Thursday (No Fridays)

2. Elementary Summer Learning Adventures

• Dates: July 6 - August 6
• Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Monday Thursday (No Fridays)

Pay & Benefits:
Pay range $27.06-$30.45/hr depending on experience.
Includes two paid prep days before program start.


Job Summary:
Work in the health office to provide immediate first aid to injured students and respond to health needs that may arise. Administer daily medication and treatments when needed and assist with personal care needs when requested. Document all care given in the student's electronic medical record and contact parents as needed about health office visits.


Qualifications:
Requires current Minnesota LPN or RN license and CPR certification. Previous experience working with students preferred.


Working Conditions:
Classroom environment, nurse's office.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
