JOB SUMMARY:

This is a 2026 summer internship in our Engineering department. The intern will collaborate with E3D wire routing engineers on assigned projects, acquiring hands-on experience while contributing to project objectives. Additionally, the intern will participate in routine engineering duties and benefit from opportunities for networking and team building within both Dassault Falcon Jet and the broader intern community.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

• Design and modification of 3D wire harnesses within CATIA V5
• Active participation in the design and development of 6X and 8X projects
• Engagement in research and ongoing improvement initiatives
• Collaboration with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers is required to address wire routing challenges
• Analysis of F6X security review data and the incorporation of updates into subsequent F6X aircraft designs.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess VPM experience, foundational proficiency in CATIA V5 (or comparable software)
• Adept in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Must have a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles, complemented by basic electrical and electronic knowledge
• Able to demonstrate strong communication abilities, and receptiveness to constructive feedback,
• Fluent in English
• Must show clear motivation for continuous learning
• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and must reside in the United States.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical Engineering major preferred

COMPENSATION:

The compensation for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.
