These interactions are based on the assessed and expressed educational needs of each student. Student Success Coaches (SSC) provide consistent and proactive support, guidance, and interaction to assigned students. SSCs intentionally help students develop skills, behaviors, and habits that contribute to success in college. This includes fostering a student-centered environment through leverage and opportunities and services that meet the identified needs of each individual student. Coaches also provide opportunities for students to engage and interact with the college by planning and executing targeted engagement events and programs. Additionally, coaches provide focused support to designated sub-populations of students, as needed. This SSC role will be focused on supporting students currently enrolled in the CWI Advanced Mechatronics Engineering Technology (AMET) program.
