Job Description
Attention Stand-Up Forklift Operators! Spherion Staffing is seeking qualified individuals to join a local company in the Columbus area that has been around since 1948. The successful candidate will use a stand-up forklift to efficiently pick and transport products within the warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret order pick lists or electronic systems to identify items to be picked.
Accurately pick and stack products in preparation for shipping or further processing.
Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy of orders before moving items to the next stage.
Place picked items in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and storage.
Conduct routine inspections of the stand-up forklift and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Previous experience in a picking or warehouse role preferred.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and product handling.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to [specific weight] pounds) and work in a fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or discrepancies.
Understanding of safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
