Status: Full-Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: Position is responsible to provide administrative support to the clinic.Also, responsible to coordinate psychiatric/psychological appointments, handle participant issues as needed, and participate in team meetings.
Major Responsibilities - Coordinating participant billing by preparing authorization packets for state/MCO approval of participant hours; monitoring medical assistance eligibility daily for authorizations; handling all participants that come up non-eligible; and contacting the family and/or Medical Assistance as appropriate.
- Receive referring authority participant referral and schedule intakes
- Review and submit payroll paperwork and contact staff as needed to make corrections.Serve as liaison between staff and The Support Center to handle insurance, workers' compensation, payroll, and accounting issues.
- Assist with the hiring of new employees by arranging interviews, processing new employee packets, and coordinating training for new hires.
- Assist parents and participants in time of need while maintaining high participant satisfaction; maintain detailed notes of all conversations in the appropriate participant file.
- Schedule and coordinate psychiatric or psychological evaluations and prepare necessary paperwork prior to the appointment.
- Complete administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: High School diploma or GED required, with one-year certification from technical school.
- Five years related experience/training providing a variety of administrative assistance including billing, human resource, and general office support.
- Prefer experience working in youth services, community programs, or program development.
- Computer knowledge is necessary, specific skills will be evaluated upon interview.
- Some understanding of insurance and third-party billing helpful.
Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking is preferred but not required.
Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
