Job Title: HVAC Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC systems and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electric, and electronic controls and equipment using proper testing equipment
• Work from drawings and manuals to diagnose and resolve issues
• Install new or used equipment using appropriate construction tools
• Charge and start up large chiller systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components on chillers, rooftops, fan units, and other HVAC equipment
• Repair and rebuild pumps and compressors
• Maintain and service building automation systems (BAS)

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 4 years of HVAC experience OR completion of a 4-year apprenticeship program
• Valid stationary engineer license
• EPA Universal certification
• Proficiency in pneumatic controls, instruments, automatic dampers, air flows, and air balancing for large institutions
• Knowledge of water and steam systems
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and ability to diagnose BAS issues
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
