Catholic Central High School is seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Studies Teacher to become a part of our experienced and rigorous Social Studies department. Catholic Central is located in Burlington, WI with 116 students and 31 staff who serve a mission grounded in Faith, Knowledge, and Tradition. Our school is committed to supporting students' growth through a dynamic curriculum that encompasses the Wisconsin State Standards, and Catholic Social Teachings. Essential job functions include: 1) Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials on a consistent basis, 2) Be present at all staff meetings and required school functions, 3) Prepare meaningful/engaging lessons and use our school technology effectively, 4) Build and maintain positive relationships with students, teaching staff and our affiliated grade school staff. 5) Communicate effectively with families. Qualified candidates should hold a current secondary license, have experience teaching AP Government, and have experience working in a one to one device classroom. Experience with Economics is a plus.
