The University at Buffalo (UB) Libraries are seeking applicants for a Digital Archives Technician to serve on a team of archivists responsible for creating and processing digitized and born-digital materials for all Special Collections units within the Libraries - The Poetry Collection, Robert L. Brown History of Medicine Collection, Rare and Special books, and the University Archives. The Digital Archives Technician is primarily responsible for assisting the Digital Archivist in accessioning, preserving, processing, and providing access to unique digital resources in the University Libraries Special Collections.

Position requires the ability to move materials weighing up to 40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks may involve reaching, positioning, or retrieving items from shelving at various heights. Work may be performed in a stationary position (standing or sitting) for extended periods. The work environment may include exposure to dust associated with books and paper materials.
Salary Range
$57,151 - $60,000
