Enhances, maintains, and supports high-volume production environments in the Recordkeeping and Operational Platforms domain, and carries out mainframe development expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM. Works with an agile squad in a fast-paced environment. Closely collaborates with Financial Operations partners, architecture, and other engineering teams. Develops business critical, enterprise-wide applications. Performs detailed analysis for maintenance and enhancement projects in the batch and online environments. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.\u00A0

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.\u00A0
Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.\u00A0

Education and Experience :\u00A0

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or related occupation) developing, supporting, and integrating mainframe applications, data, or systems infrastructure in a financial services environment.\u00A0\u00A0

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or related occupation) developing, supporting, and integrating mainframe applications, data, or systems infrastructure in a financial services environment.\u00A0

Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) maintaining and supporting end-to-end enterprise high volume financial applications to recordkeep 401k plan and participant data using 401k capabilities -- contributions, loans, withdrawals, rollovers, exchanges, tax forms, statements, and letters; and analyzing impact, repair, design, and test functionalities to deploy high quality software solutions within production environments using core constructs -- COBOL, CICS, DB2, or JCL.\u00A0
DE architecting, developing, and maintaining highly reliable, secure, and performant enterprise mainframe applications using COBOL (for batch processing), CICS (for online transaction processing), DB2 (for CA database management), and Control-M (for scheduling); and conducting performance testing on mainframe batch and online modules using STROBE, SOAP UI, Xpeditor, DTCN or SYSVIEW.\u00A0
DE monitoring service requests to process ad-hoc data and job update requests researching and resolving incident tickets in production environments according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to solve environment-related issues and restore services using Middleware system; and coordinating change management processes to deploy new functionalities and break/fix code modifications using ServiceNow or Endevor.\u00A0\u00A0
DE scheduling and monitoring batch application jobs using JCL, Control-M, CA-VIEW, DB2, or Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM); and building or enhancing IOM s to support business functionalities; and innovating automated solutions to optimize business workflow.\u00A0
