Department/Unit Summary
Sovah Surgery consists of 3 Full Time Surgeons and 1 Part Time Surgeon. We provide pre and post care after surgery. Our Surgeons see patients for various reasons such as hernias, gallbladders, cancers, skin cysts, debridement, etc. We do some in-office procedures. Hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Additional requirements include:
· American Heart Association Basic Life Support
· Experience in Utilization Review preferred
· Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
