ERM is seeking a Regional Chief Financial Officer (RCFO) in North America. The role reports to the Global Chief Financial Officer with accountability to the Regional CEO (RCEO) for North America (NA). The RCFO will be an integral part of NA's strategic and operational leadership, responsible for all aspects of finance including financial planning, accounting and controls, treasury, tax strategy, and transformation. Leading a large, dispersed team, the RCFO will spearhead the ongoing transformation of the finance organization in line with global initiatives. This role will also contribute within the global finance organization, shaping and advancing strategic goals, and holding significant influence within the North American region as a core member of the global CFO leadership team.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to the RCEO and the broader NA leadership team, assisting in the development of the NA financial plan annually. While primary responsibilities focus on financial management, success also depends on strong business acumen, leadership, judgment, and management experience.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Business Management – Establish a unified finance team, elevate finance as a strategic partner, collaborate with leadership to drive accountability, and oversee regional finance reporting.
2. Operational Financial Management & Control – Lead financial planning and control processes, maintain cost discipline, enhance business intelligence, and develop plans to improve working capital.
3. Finance Transformation – Drive efficiency and visibility through KPIs, automation, and ERP upgrades, and lead finance effectiveness projects.
4. M&A – Lead M&A transactions from due diligence to integration.
5. Management – Lead the NA team, foster remote collaboration, challenge the status quo, and enhance commercial understanding.

The candidate will deliver strong financial management, controls, and commercial insights. They should be capable of driving transformation across people, processes, and systems.

Candidate Profile

ERM seeks an experienced finance leader with extensive leadership in complex US organizations and some Canada experience. A background as a regional Finance Director in professional services or private equity-backed environments is preferred. Experience in inorganic and organic growth, M&A, and cross-jurisdictional finance is desirable. The candidate must be a credible financial expert, a strong leader, and a strategic partner, demonstrating high intellect, decisiveness, integrity, and emotional intelligence. They should be committed to professional growth, collaborative, ethical, assertive, and self-motivated.
