QA Tester to support our Army Client on an Application Development and Maintenance Program. This IT team follows an SDLC program and supports 10-15+ applications that each complete 2-3 releases per year.
General Duties and Responsibilities: - Under general supervision, carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.
- Completes User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Conducts regression tests, smoke tests and thoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Documents and works to resolve all problems.
- Uses Visual Studio, Azure Devops, or similar tools to record test results for the release's work items.
- Reports progress on problem resolution to management.
- Devises improvements to current procedures and performs workflow analysis to recommend quality improvements
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5 years Experience
- OR Associates Degree AND 7 years Experience - Experience with IT Application Development
Required Security Clearance: - Active DOD Secret with upgrade eligibility to Top Secret/Secret SSBI
