Summit Medical Consultants is recruiting an experienced Practice Manager to join our Leadership Team. This position will work in conjunction with our current leadership team.

This is a very hands-on, in the weeds position with oversite of up to 3 direct reports.

Work Location: Hybrid remote with multiple days in person at our Greenwood Village Office. Travel required to facilities.

Summit Medical Consultants is a rapidly growing Physician Practice. Founded in 2015, we have expanded to approximately 100 employees and are continuing to grow. Our mission is to provide patients and their families with clinical services throughout their Acute Inpatient Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Long Term Care and Assisted and Independent Living stays. We coordinate with the Hospitalists, Specialists, Surgeons, Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies, Case Management and Psychiatry at the facility level to provide compassionate and coordinated care.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating and oversight of managing provider and facility schedules, PTO
  • Work in an administrative role within the Practice assuming new responsibilities as assigned.
  • Participate in Admin on Call Rotation
  • Project Management
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the day-to-day functions of the Practice
  • Analyze systems and consult with users to evaluate business requirements, identify operating procedures, evaluate existing or proposed systems and prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
  • Attend Monthly Team Meetings. Attend facility or administrative meetings upon need.
  • Clinical Administrative Projects and Tracking
  • Work with Practice Leadership to develop and implement clinical tracking, mentoring, and practice initiatives and manage these programs. Report out on these projects to Practice Leadership.
  • Create and administer appropriate clinical education and enhancement within scope.
  • Assist with CCM and TCM programs- evaluate workflows, performance and efficacy of programs.
  • Facility and Provider Relations
  • Privacy and Security Officer
  • Travel to multiple facilities of the practice as needed.
  • Act as a communication hub between various teams of the Practice. Document all communication wherever and whenever necessary.
  • Develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Document and track personal and team productivity and present reports and accountability markers to the administrative team weekly.
  • Supervisory responsibilities: staffing, mentoring, managing schedules, performance management, productivity, department performance etc.
  • Efficiency and Professionalism
  • Escalate issues to the management immediately.
  • Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
  • Solve moderately complex problems and reach out to Leadership regarding questions, concerns, roadblocks or problems
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience working in a healthcare setting, preferrable post-acute.
  • Proven track record of working independently; ability to work remotely with minimal supervision and full accountability
  • Results oriented
  • Complex scheduling Logistics and multi-tasking skills
  • Clinical experience as a licensed medical professional

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 Years’ experience working as a nurse or administrative role in the post-acute setting.
  • LPN License (Active in Colorado)

Salary starting at $80,000.00 per year or higher depending on qualifications and experience. Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
