Full time We are looking for a Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner to join our medical group in Tulsa, OK. You will find a supportive and welcoming team to work alongside you within our medical center that provides high quality medical care for patients with urgent care, work comp and motor vehicle accidents along with a variety of physicals, immunizations, and other services. The incoming Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner will be required to see and treat a wide variety of health care issues in patients of all ages in our busy center.

As a walk-in Urgent care clinic, we provide services such as, physical exams, onsite labs, x-rays, immunizations, occupational/school/sports health, and treatment of acute/unexpected injuries and illnesses. We offer affordable care with minimal wait times, advanced technology diagnostics, licensed professionals, and supportive staff in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Duties: - Provide direct care to patients of the clinic (Office/urgent care visits and acute care visits)
- Evaluates and treats common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma
- Performs in-office minor procedures (small laceration repairs, joint splinting, closed reduction of small joints, wound care, I&D, joint/trigger point injections, Admin IM antibiotics/steroids, and local analgesics)
- Orders and reviews diagnostic tests, X-rays, labs, and bloodwork (UA, Strep, EKG, Flu, Drug screen, Urine Pregnancy)
- Consistently and accurately documents all calls, treatments, medications, etc. in patient chart
- Instructs and counsels patients regarding diagnosis and follow up steps
- Responds to all patient questions
- Collaboration with the physicians, other colleagues and providers, and support staff for comprehensive care
Requirements: - Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner program
- Must be comfortable/able to see patients 2 weeks and up
- PA/NP License in OK
- Active DEA Registration preferred
- Valid ACLS & PALS certifications preferred
- Should be comfortable/knowledgeable to perform basic urgent care procedures.
