Pride Health is hiring a phlebotomist I to support our client’s medical facility based in Liverpool, NY. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Position Name: Phlebotomist I
Pay rate: $18/hr-$19.60
Location: Liverpool will be their home base. My area is very large. They could be travelling for up to an hour and a half one way. Anywhere from 10 minutes to 1.5 hours.
Liverpool, Clay, Syracuse, Ithaca, Watertown, Auburn
Duration: 3 months, with possible extension
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:45am -3:45pm, rotating, Saturdays 7am-11am
Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:
· Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
· Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
· Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
· Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
· Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.
Specimen Collection & Processing:
· Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection with precision.
· Verify patient demographic information, including initials and signatures post-venipuncture.
· Ensure all specimens are properly labeled in the patient’s presence.
· 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
