• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

• On-call: One shift per week

• Patient Ratio: 1:1 all shifts

• Charting System: EPIC EMR
\n\t

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2400-$2600

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n\n

\n\t
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
\n\t
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (charge nurse experience required)
\n\t
• Travel RN experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
\n\t
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (AHA)
\n\t
• EPIC charting experience required
\n\t
• Level I trauma nursing experience preferred
\n\t
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
\n\t
• Experience caring for all patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
\n\t
• Local candidates not accepted within a 50-mile radius
\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n\n

\n\t
• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care in a high-acuity OR setting
\n\t
• Circulate and scrub for a wide range of surgical procedures, including:\n\t
  \n\t\t
  • General, GYN, Robotics, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, Neuro/Spine, Orthopedic, ENT/Dental/Plastics/Maxillofacial, Cystoscopy/Urology, Pediatrics
  \n\t\t
  • Robotic surgery (Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, gastrointestinal, gynecologic)
  \n\t\t
  • Trauma cases (gunshot wounds, stab wounds, motor vehicle accidents, multiple injuries)
  \n\t
  \n\t
\n\t
• Follow infection control, fire safety, radiation safety, and universal protocol procedures
\n\t
• Accurately handle and label surgical specimens
\n\t
• Document all patient care activities using EPIC EMR
\n\t
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams: respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response, pharmacy, transportation, unit secretary
\n\t
• Participate in orientation and annual training modules as required
\n\t
• Participate in on-call rotation (one shift per week)
\n\t
• Float to other units or facilities as needed
\n
