CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Natural Gas Engineer to join our Gas Engineer Team located in either Syracuse or Colonie, NY.
CHA has a long track record of delivering safe, cost-efficient, and reliable designs for gas transmission pipelines, custody transfer stations, distribution mains, regulator stations, and customer connections. Our team can also certify plans and help gas utilities navigate the process of bringing infrastructure projects into regulatory compliance and enhance quality control.
Working alongside CHA’s professional engineers, the Natural Gas Engineer supports the design development, implementation and technical analysis of various systems to suit individual client needs. The Natural Gas Engineer aids in preparing technical reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various engineering tasks. At CHA, our Natural Gas Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
Additionallly, the Natural Gas Engineer identifies technical discrepancies in analytical results and makes appropriate corrections. They will develop and maintain a familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the firm’s and client’s practices, procedures, and standards.

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
