This is a do-it-all position that will require the candidate to be invested equally in producing, editing, MMJ reporting, and anchoring. During the football season, the position leans heavily on the producing side as we produce six specials weekly. We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic candidate who, in addition to being on TV, wants to make TV. We are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, have strong communication skills, and be proficient with non-linear editing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Produce, write, and edit sports segments and shows Assist with the creation and production of high-energy and innovative sports content Write web stories and provide digital content for our website and streaming platform Phenomenal writing skills and a solid photography ability MMJ creative stories Compelling and energetic anchor Other duties assigned by Manager Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience A valid license and a good driving record Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Journalism CBS News and Stations, brings together the power of CBS News, 28 owned television stations in 17 major U.S. markets, the CBS News Streaming Network, CBS News Streaming local platforms, local websites and cbsnews.com, under one umbrella. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 - 75,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
