Job Description

Full-Time | Growth-Oriented | Hybrid (Remote & On-Site)

We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) to join our growing team! This is a full-time, hybrid position that supports Loan Officers by managing key aspects of the mortgage loan process and building positive relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams. Responsibilities

  • Assist Loan Officers with the preparation and submission of loan applications.
  • Collect and organize necessary documentation from clients.
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather additional information as needed.
  • Manage client files and ensure accurate data entry in the system.
  • Coordinate with underwriting and processing teams to ensure timely progress on loan files.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for Loan Officers.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for webinars.
  • Support on-line marketing efforts
  • Proactively engage in business development activities to generate referrals and build client relationships.
  • Maintain regular communication with referral partners and nurture professional networks.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work from Arden, NC Branch location 2-3 days per week.
  • Previous experience in mortgage lending, loan processing, or a related field is required.
  • Adhere and comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • General banking knowledge.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with a track record of building client relationships.
  • Proficiency with loan origination software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as closely and harmoniously with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized.
  • Previous Encompass system experience is helpful.

Education and Experience:

  • 2-3 Years Mortgage banking experience required and/or required based on position details
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
