This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and eager to learn the inner workings of a legal practice. Legal experience is not required — we will provide on-the-job training for the right candidate. Job Duties: Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to general inquiries Schedule appointments and manage calendars for attorneys and staff Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems Prepare and format documents, correspondence, and basic legal forms under supervision Assist with client intake, including gathering basic information and documentation Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Support attorneys and legal staff with administrative tasks as needed Learn and grow into basic legal assistant responsibilities over time Job Responsibilities: Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Word, Case Management Software, Adobe and Outlook Excellent organizational skills Detail oriented and ability to multi-task Sound judgment and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and ability to influence and achieve successful results Strong verbal and writing skills Strong work ethic and team player Excellent attendance history #M1 Ref: #563-Joule Staffing - Toms River
