Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Addison, TX(Hybrid) . Responsibilities include developing and integrating Java REST APIs, leading teams on complex projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Rate Range: $65/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer job responsibilities include:

• Developing and integrating Java REST APIs and messaging applications using Spring Boot.

• Leading and supporting complex projects, including product upgrades and data migration.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including application developers, architects, and infrastructure partners.

• Utilizing development tools like source code control, code quality tools, and debugging/profiling tools.

• Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software by adhering to Agile practices and design patterns.

• Troubleshooting and solving problems with strong analytical skills, while driving solutions across multiple teams.

• Participating in application server management (WebSphere, JBoss) and improving performance across microservices.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Java development and relational database management.

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, NoSQL, and Microservices architecture.

• Experience with integration technologies like Kafka, Hive, Docker, Kubernetes, and Apache Camel.

Pay Details: $65.00 to $68.00 per hour
