As a Healthcare Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for all aspects of logistics operations within our company's Scheduled Services division. This role involves managing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with various teams to coordinate logistics activities and optimize processes to meet company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
•Administer all logistics operations within our company's scheduled services division. This role involves managing goods' movement, storage, and distribution, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
•Work closely with various teams to coordinate logistics activities and optimize processes to meet company objectives.
•Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
•Manage inventory control processes, including forecasting, replenishment, and monitoring inventory levels to minimize excess or shortage.
•Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of logistics operations, analyze data to identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary.
•Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high performance and continuous development.
•Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and optimize resource utilization within the logistics function.
•Manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement to distribution. This includes sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of equipment and supplies.
•Maintaining accurate inventory levels is crucial in healthcare to ensure facilities have the necessary equipment and supplies.
•Help implement inventory management systems and procedures to track stock levels, anticipate demand, and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
•Healthcare logistics involves adherence to strict regulations, standards, and other regulatory bodies.
•Stay updated on these regulations and ensure that all logistics activities comply with them.
•Coordinating the transportation of medical imaging equipment and supplies requires careful planning to ensure safe and timely delivery.
•Work with freight carriers, arranging for specialized transportation for sensitive equipment, and optimizing delivery routes.
•Ensuring the quality and integrity of medical imaging equipment and supplies throughout the logistics process is essential for patient safety and regulatory compliance.
•Implement quality assurance measures, such as inspection protocols and proper handling procedures, to maintain product integrity.
•Healthcare organizations often operate under tight budgets, so cost management is a critical aspect of the logistics manager's role.
•Optimize transportation, storage, and procurement processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
•Effective communication and collaboration with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, equipment manufacturers, distributors, and regulatory agencies, are essential for successful healthcare logistics operations.
•Building and maintaining strong relationships with these stakeholders is key to ensuring smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
•A Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCMP, CSCP) is a plus.
•Proven experience in logistics management, with a strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
•Proficiency in logistics software and systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
•Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
•Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based at our San Antonio, TX location. Local travel may be required occasionally.
