As the Head of Compensation at Lambda, you will be the visionary leader behind the design, implementation, and management of our compensation programs. Your role will be pivotal in attracting, retaining, and inspiring top talent while motivating our team to achieve extraordinary results.

You’ll be a key player in developing a competitive and equitable compensation strategy that aligns with our company values and ambitious business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of compensation best practices and trends, as well as strong analytical and leadership skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns and supports Lambda's business goals and objectives
  • Utilize benchmarking data to make recommendations for adjustments to salary structures, incentive programs, and other compensation components that motivates our talented team to build enduring and fulfilling careers at Lambda
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay current with industry compensation trends, competitor practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring Lambda attracts and retains top talent, and positions itself as a leader in the competitive talent landscape
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Recruiting, Finance, and senior leadership to establish guidelines and policies for compensation decisions across the organization
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of all compensation programs, including salary structures, equity, benefits, and other compensation related processes
  • Respond to internal requests for review of existing jobs, pricing new positions, reviewing requests for promotions, salary adjustments, and external offer packages ensuring internal and external equity
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for board and senior leadership to provide insights into compensation-related metrics and performance

You

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Have 8+ years of compensation experience with at least 3 years within a public company or a high-growth, pre-IPO environment and a strong understanding of equity
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Have experience leading compensation initiatives and a proven track record of designing and implementing compensation programs and driving organizational change
  • Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Have extensive knowledge of compensation and HR laws, regulations and best practices

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification

Salary Range Information

Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $171,000-$283,000. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
