Job Title: Upholsterer

Location: Tupelo, MS

Pay Rate: $16+ per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented  Upholsterer to join our team in Tupelo, MS. The ideal candidate will have experience in repairing, restoring, and creating upholstered furniture and interiors. This role involves working with a variety of materials—including fabric, leather, padding, and springs—to bring new life to furniture or create custom pieces according to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair, restore, and construct upholstered furniture and interiors.
• Measure, cut, sew, and attach upholstery materials to furniture frames.
• Replace or repair padding, springs, webbing, and fabric as needed.
• Collaborate with clients or design teams to achieve desired looks and finishes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled.
• Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and durability.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in upholstery or related field (automotive, furniture, marine, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to measure, cut, and sew with precision.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and move furniture as required.
