Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Forensic Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The Forensic Accountant will play a crucial role in investigating financial discrepancies, analyzing financial data, and providing expert opinions in legal proceedings. Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Financial Investigation:

2. Expert Testimony and Reporting:

   • Prepare clear and concise reports detailing findings and conclusions from financial investigations.
   • Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings, arbitration, or mediation hearings.
   • Communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders, attorneys, and clients.

3. Fraud Detection and Prevention:

   • Develop and implement fraud detection strategies and internal controls.
   • Assist in assessing risks and vulnerabilities related to financial fraud and misconduct.
   • Collaborate with management and legal counsel to mitigate fraud risks and improve compliance.

4. Litigation Support:

   • Assist legal counsel in preparing financial evidence and exhibits for litigation.
   • Analyze financial documents and provide support during discovery and deposition processes.
   • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution procedures.

5. Financial Data Analysis:

   • Utilize specialized software and tools to analyze large volumes of financial data.
   • Interpret financial data to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies relevant to investigations.
   • Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to support investigative findings.

6. Compliance and Ethics:

   • Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards related to forensic accounting.
   • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
   • Provide guidance on compliance issues and ethical practices within the organization.
