The Finance intern will contribute toward the daily financial operating and compliance activities of the Finance department. The individual should be able to follow previously established procedures and is expected to apply good accounting form, their work will cross-check and be free of technical error.

  • Roll forward budget worksheets/2025 season prep
  • Roll forward Annual Financial Statements
  • Confirm Control Preparation for Audit (Legal, Investments, Reinsurance, Special Deposits)
  • Update prior year fields Financial Statements
  • Peer Group Research and Updating of Ratios
  • Roll forward of ITD Loss worksheets for financial calls
  • Roll forward of ITD Premium worksheets for financial calls
  • Reinsurance XOL claim worksheet

Requirements:

  • Must be pursuing an Associate's degree or above. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics or other related undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Understand accounting concepts and principles
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organized with time management skills to complete projects timely
  • Able to work independently
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office
