Scott Manufacturing Solutions Inc. is looking for a Fabricator Welder II for our first shift who, under moderate supervision, operates arc and heliarc equipment to weld cabinets, frames, and small parts.

Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:
•None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•Check welding equipment for proper operation.
•Set up a job for welding.
•Obtain and position the clamps.
•Prepare welding wire for feeding.
•Level frame for welding, determine proper welding spots, types, and sizes given stress requirements.
•Operate arc and heliarc welding equipment to weld cabinets and everything else that is required in a cabinet.
•Use wrenches, ratchets, grinders, and hand tools as needed.
•Service and maintain welding equipment.
•Clean and maintain the work area.
•Work primarily with other welders.
•Responsible for consistently meeting quality and production standards.
•May assist sheet metal, fabrication, grinding, and assembly work crews as needed.
•Must consistently and properly wear PPE.

Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:
•Required to stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
•Required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
•Vision abilities required by this job include depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
•Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs
