As a member of our Support Center, you'll be part of the foundation of $150Million restaurant company that is growing quickly. In the last seven years we have grown from 16 locations to 25 across 3 distinct brands and two evolutions of those brands for new growth.

About the Role:

\n

We are hiring for a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist. This entry level position is a key part of our Accounting team and reports directly to the CFO.

\n

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for day-to-day financial transactions related to vendors and corporate credit card reconciliations and other company account reconciliations.

\n

The AP Specialist must exercise discretion in executing essential functions and be able to work independently, following through on assignments. Accurate data entry to maintain the integrity of the accounting system, processes expenditures, receipts, and other financial transactions. Ensures financial files are complete, organized, and maintained as needed, and assists accounting personnel through research and clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review invoices posted by location. Making sure all the information are correct.
  • \n
  • Entering Utilities and other invoices on weekly basis
  • \n
  • Process Expense Reimbursement
  • \n
  • Process weekly check run.
  • \n
  • Record/ reconcile EFT Fintech payments.
  • \n
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • \n
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • \n
  • Research and approve new vendors and create new vendor accounts
  • \n
  • Maintain precise records of all vendor payments
  • \n
  • Analyze all accounts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to ensure payment accuracy
  • \n
  • Follow up with Vendors and Store Manager for any outstanding invoices or missing payments
  • \n
  • Reconcile Some Balance Sheet accounts
  • \n
  • Performs other duties as required to support the Accounting Department.

Qualifications:

    \n
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field or at least 2 years of equivalent experience in Accounts Payable roles.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Experience with Paycom is a plus.
  • \n
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • \n
  • Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus.
  • \n
