Remote Position: Accountant Trainer

This is a remote position.

IT Career Hub was founded in Germany in September 2022 by a team of managers and teachers from the largest educational startups in the world. The Education and Career Center provides a full cycle of support - from choosing a profession to employment. IT Career Hub graduates work in corporations such as Zalando, Bolt, ImmoScout24, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.

The mission of IT Career Hub is to train adult students to work in the field of information technology, promote the individual development of each student and help in finding a new promising job. IT Career Hub training programs are certified by AZAV and are designed to be flexible to the needs of adult students, providing the opportunity to learn regardless of work experience and previously acquired knowledge and skills.

We don't limit ourselves to just training. We also provide employment support and career counseling to our graduates. We establish partnerships with leading companies in the industry so that our students have the opportunity to gain experience through an internship and then a job at one of these companies.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching Lohn- und Gehaltsabrechnung as a part of our course "Finanz-, Bilanz- und Lohnbuchhalter mit Kl und Integration in den deutschen Arbeitsmarkt";
• Lessons are conducted in German language, our students have B1-B2 level of German;
• Lessons take place in the evening;
• Teaching both foundational and advanced topics in payroll accounting, including tax and social security regulations in Germany;
• Guiding participants in the use of payroll software (e.g. DATEV, Lexware);
• Supporting the instructional team in keeping current materials relevant and aligned with course goals;
• Reviewing and providing feedback on submitted assignments and practical projects;
• Supporting student success through clear communication, structured learning objectives, and constructive feedback;
• Assisting learners with comprehension, including in an online learning environment;
• Collaborating with coordinators, mentors, and fellow instructors to ensure a cohesive and effective learning journey.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting in German companies;
• Proficiency in utilizing DATEV or Lexware;
• Communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics in an accessible language.
