Job Summary

• Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and estimate requirements.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates, including material takeoffs and labor calculations, for data center electrical projects.
• Maintain accurate records of estimate figures, supplier pricing, and historical cost data to ensure precision in cost assessments.
• Review and integrate past project data, including purchase orders, subcontracts, and productivity reports, into unit and man-hour estimates.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and collaborate with stakeholders to refine project scope and estimating accuracy.
• Coordinate the full estimating process for assigned bids/projects, ensuring all cost factors are considered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of estimating experience in electrical construction, preferably in data center projects, or equivalent technical training/experience.
• Strong knowledge of estimating methodologies, cost control principles, and the ability to interpret and analyze computerized cost data.
• Proficiency in relevant estimating software and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and MVR screening when required for job responsibilities.
