Job Title: CNC Machinist

Pay/Shift

24-30/hr

1st and 2nd shift are available - 4 ten hour shifts - M-Th.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our precision machining team. This role involves operating CNC lathes, performing setups, and programming machines to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have experience with Y-axis milling, a strong understanding of CNC operations, and a commitment to maintaining tight tolerances and consistent quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC lathes to manufacture parts according to specifications and production schedules.
• Perform machine setups, including tooling and offsets, to ensure efficient and accurate operation.
• Program CNC machines using G-code and conversational controls for new or modified parts.
• Utilize Y-axis milling capabilities to produce complex geometries and multi-axis features.
• Conduct spot checks and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain part quality and minimize downtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
