Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our healthcare team in Bronx, NY . As the CNO, you will lead the strategic direction for nursing, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for nursing staff. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping our organizational culture, enhancing clinical outcomes, and driving excellence in nursing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement nursing strategies to align with organizational goals, ensuring quality care and operational efficiency.
• Lead nursing teams in delivering exceptional patient care using evidence-based practices and innovative approaches.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to optimize resource allocation and improve care delivery systems.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics to evaluate nursing quality and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Foster professional development and mentorship opportunities to enhance nursing staff skills and career growth.
• Advocate for nursing within the executive leadership team and represent nursing interests in decision-making.
• Drive initiatives to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and clinical outcomes.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field required; Doctorate in nursing or health administration preferred.
• Recent acute care hospital experience required.
• Current RN licensure with Primary Source Verification required.
• 10+ years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including 5 years in a supervisory or senior management role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, lead complex projects, and drive change initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement methodologies.

Schedule:

• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Hours per Day: 8 hours
• Days per Week: 5
