Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. Duties will include performing as a fictional character in Boo Fest themed zones, hay mazes and family friendly zones and entertaining our park guests with great enthusiasm and animation. Interested applicants must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight, be able to work in crowds, heat, cold.

What will you be doing:

• Interact with our littlest guests and families inside our family friendly attractions.
• Transform into a family friendly creature with full make up and costumes
• Greet and interact with our guests during Boo Fest
• Remain in character at all times
• Pass Halloween Candy out to our guests in costume
• Other job duties as assigned

  How you will do it:

• Always maintain a friendly character and persons
• Keep routes (and work locations) clean
• Be able to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to the Six Flags mantra
• Be playful and friendly with an outgoing personality
• Have a positive attitude to deliver the most terrifying experience possible

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

• Reports directly to the Promotional Events and Entertainment Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
• Required to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, outdoors in various weather conditions
• Height and weight may be required for proper fit in specific costumes
• Must be able to work in dark or small places
• Exposure to smoke and lighting effect
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others
• Must be professional, self-motivated, the ability to multi-task and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
