About the Role
The Company is seeking a Co-chair for its Business and Community Engagement Committee. The ideal candidate will be a passionate individual with a strong commitment to community engagement and the ability to lead the planning and execution of innovative events that align with the organization's mission. Responsibilities include collaborating with committee members to set goals, establish timelines, and oversee budget management and fundraising strategies. The Co-chair will also be expected to represent the organization at various community gatherings and networking events, and to engage and inspire volunteers, supporters, and partners. Applicants should be enthusiastic, organized, and have excellent communication skills. While not mandatory, previous experience in event planning, nonprofit work, or leadership roles is a plus. The successful candidate will have a collaborative spirit, a readiness to embrace new ideas, and strong ties to the community, either as a resident or a business owner.
