Locations: . KENT ISLAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-STEVENSVILLE MD

Centreville Elementary School- Centreville MD

Schedule : No WEEKENDS-Monday-Friday AM Hours: 6:15am-9am PM Hours 3:00pm-6pm. Must be available to work all half days, delayed openings and summer camp days.

If not certified but if you have experience/college we do provide Training certification of 45 hours school age and 45 hours growth and development for promotion to Group Leader at no cost with retro pay. Must complete in 6 weeks.

The position we currently have open requires you to have the following licenses or certifications:
Medication Administration
ADA
Emergency Preparedness
90 Hour School Age Curriculum and Development
First Aid and CPR.

As an AlphaBEST Captain , you'll be trained to do the following:

• Lead a fun and dedicated team of Guides that deliver excitement to our student Explorers in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site.
• Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder.
• Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site.

Here's what you'll need:

• Must have 90- hour certification in school age programs OR a degree in child care or teaching. 1 year experience working directly with children in an approved setting( registered child care home, licensed child care center, nursery, school, church or similar setting)
• Must be at least 21years old
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
• Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards
