Job Title: Work-Ready Processing/Production Associate
Reports to: Director of Production; Director of Programs
FSLA: Non-Exempt, Part-Time

Program Description: Our Production/Processing Training and Internship Program offers a comprehensive and supportive learning/working environment for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment while earning a paycheck. Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical skills, valuable experience, and job readiness development to help them succeed in the production/processing field while working towards competitive employment.

Program Benefits:

  2. Hands-on Training: Participants will receive practical, hands-on training in production and processing techniques, including equipment operation, quality control, safety procedures, and more.

Program Requirements:
  • Open to individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment who are interested in pursuing careers in production/processing jobs.
  • Must be motivated, reliable, and committed to participating fully in the program.
  • No prior experience in production/processing jobs is required; we welcome individuals with diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Must be able to attend sessions regularly and actively participate in program activities.

Typical Work Hours: To be Determined

Typical Working Conditions: Individuals work in a reasonably clean, indoor production environment under supervision. There is continuous contact with staff and co-workers of various abilities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodation will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
