Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welder III to join our team in Norfolk, VA . This position is responsible for performing complex welding tasks in support of ship repair and maritime fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural and pipe welding, a deep understanding of shipbuilding materials and techniques, and experience working in a shipyard or maritime industrial environment.
The successful candidate will join our Fleet Services Group, performing various ship repair, modernization, and Alteration Installation Team (AIT) projects in support of U.S. Navy and commercial maritime clients. This role requires precision, efficiency, and a commitment to quality workmanship in both shop and shipboard environments.Essential duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
