Job Responsibilities Design and develop visual content based on company animation IPs, including character artwork, style guides, and key visuals. Create product design concepts for merchandise (e.g., apparel, toys, collectibles, lifestyle products) in alignment with brand/IP identity. Collaborate with animation, licensing, and marketing teams to ensure accurate brand representation across all content and products. Develop style guides and brand assets for internal and external partners. Support marketing campaigns by designing promotional materials (digital and print). Research market trends in animation, gaming, and consumer products to generate innovative design ideas. Ensure all designs maintain consistency with IP identity, audience preferences, and global brand standards. Job Requirements Degree/Diploma in Animation, Visual Communication, Industrial/Product Design, or related field. With 3–5 years of experience in content design, character design, or product design, ideally within animation, entertainment, or consumer products. Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); knowledge of 3D design tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D) is a plus. Demonstrated portfolio showcasing IP-based design (characters, story worlds, or branded products). Understanding of merchandising, licensing, and consumer product development. Excellent visual storytelling, creative thinking, and attention to detail. Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work with cross-functional and global teams. Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Japanese is required to liaise with clients and stakeholders from respective language regions Nice to have Experience in motion graphics, animation design, or storyboarding. Familiarity with Japanese animation/entertainment content and its global fan culture. Knowledge of printing techniques, materials, and manufacturing processes for consumer products.
