Job Description
Veterinary Receptionist/assistant to reception staff. Non-corporate, privately owned busy small animal hospital in Los Alamitos has an opening for a receptionist or assistant to reception. Position is full or part-time. Applicant must have a minimum of 6 months experience in a veterinary hospital setting, work well with staff and clients and have a good attitude. Knowledge of Cornerstone system a plus. Clinic hours are M-F 8 am to 6 pm and Saturday 8 am till noon, closed Sunday and 6 major holidays. We have 4 doctors, a cohesive staff and great clientele. We strive to provide a good working environment where all staff get along and work together to help clients and their pets. Our goal is to promote co-operation between staff and avoid drama. We offer vacation, holiday pay, insurance for full time staff and a generous pet discount. Pay commensurate with experience, start at $18 if not experienced and up to $S23 for animal hospital experience and knowledge of all reception duties in this field. Students welcome, we accommodate scheduling.
