Experience will determine placement: No experience? Begin in an entry-level support role focused on cleaning and assisting, with opportunities to grow into patient and client-facing responsibilities. Requirements: Punctuality, attention to detail, teamwork, compassion, tech-savviness, and a passion for veterinary care. Veterinary Assistant responsibilities may include: Cross training to a CSR position Assisting in exams Patient handling and restraint Must love cats and dogs (we're a certified Cat Friendly Practice) Administering vaccines and medications Outpatient procedures Pharmacy duties Chores throughout the hospital such as cleaning, dishes, restocking, garbage, and laundry Assisting the medical staff, as needed El Dorado Animal Hospital has been a trusted, full-service veterinary practice since 2011, dedicated to delivering high-quality medicine and compassionate care.
