Job Description

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday between 9 AM to 6:30 PM

The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and prior retail experience. You will be responsible for the daily tasks of the store.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Continuously practice good listening skills with customers, UPS Store team members, and leadership.
• Take ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
• Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operate all equipment, software, and devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Stay current with web-based training and best practices.
• Empathize and manage demanding, impatient, and/or frustrated customers to turn a stressful event into a positive experience.
• Package shipments for safe arrival, including assembling stock boxes, building custom boxes, and properly cushioning contents.
• Take ownership of customers' packing, shipping, and/or print problems and offer viable solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
